School History
In I Cor. 2:9-10, the scripture tells us “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God
hath prepared for them that love Him. But
God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit….”
The
vision that God has given our Pastor-Teacher, Pastor Harold J. Frelix, Sr. for
our church body is unfolding before our very eyes.
We
all have seen what a tremendous impact that the Word of God has had on
our children through the Bible Camp!
And we are seeing the tremendous impact that the Word of God is
having on us all through the Revelational Classes!
We
have always been blessed with various studies here at Priest Lake, our regular
bible studies, Meat Lovers bible studies, previous Eschatology classes, New
Members Classes, Commitment Counseling, etc.,
In
1996, Pastor Frelix conducted the first Biblical Counselor Training Program,
which resulted in the ordination of 7 trained biblical counselors, prepared in
the Word, submitted to the Word, and serving the body.
In
the fall of 1999, the Priest Lake Community Baptist Church Revelation
Knowledge Institute began structured pilot classes, the purpose of which
was to prepare our ministers for service. During
the incubation stages there were four classes offered.
As the Lord blessed the vision, many saints within the body expressed a
desire to receive from the Lord through the school.
More students enrolled. More
teachers were prepared by the Holy Spirit.
More ministers, called teachers, servants in all areas of the body came
forth. From this point more classes
were added as the Holy Spirit allowed. Presently
there are at least 35 different classes offered through the Revelational
Knowledge Institute. Because
our students are committed to receiving what the Lord is providing for us, our
dropout rate is less than 2%. The
Lord is truly blessing us through the solid teaching of the Word of God.
We
offer a youth preparation program, Youth for Yahweh, ages 4 through 18,
which gives youth an opportunity to receive and grow in the Word of God,
preparing them to stand against adversity. This program will consist of Equipping
the Saints, and we will also implement a Junior Deacon Helper Program.
Adult programs are the Equipping the Saint Certificate and Diploma
Program, the Ministerial Preparation Program, and also our
introductory classes for the Biblical Counselor Training Program this
fall. All of our instructors are
spirit-filled and courses are solidly grounded in the Word of God.
Already,
we have seen many of our students come forward for service in various areas,
teachers, witnesses, ushers, choir, hospitality committee, finance, missions,
preachers as the vision unfolds. Our
ministers, counselors, deacons and deaconesses are also being prepared in this
school. According to the vision
that God has given Pastor Frelix, we will see our future leaders emerge from
this institute, your children and children’s children, as we continue to march
forward in faith and continue to make ourselves “INTENTIONALLY AVAILABLE
TO RECEIVE THE WORD OF GOD!”
